Note the obvious letter from each advert and the ordinal number for the position of that letter. So “H” (Kentish Town Rugby) is “first”, “G” (Grants Biscuits) is ‘Second’ etc. “Dot” is the “.” in the seventh position.

Study the Undertaker’s business card
The letters on reverse of card indicate numbers on another item.
ID part 1: 243
The letters on the reverse of the Undertaker’s business card reference the positions of images of gravestones in the pamphlet. The letter colours - red or green - refer to the side.
Follow the order ‘A,B,C’ and count the number of gravestones in the photos in that position and side with that colour.
Study the lamplighter’s business card back
Find the structures on the map and other references to them.
ID part 2: 261
Look at the reverse of the Lamplighter’s business card.
From the map, discover the names of the structures on the reverse of the card: Mausoleum, Bridge and Monopteros.
From the pamphlet, take each structure’s position in the pamphlet’s “Top Ten” list to discover: Mausoleum -2, Bridge - 6 and Monopteros - 1.

Look at the death certificate for a cipher
Find a paragraph relating to the cipher words

Follow the order on the back of the death certificate: Monk, Guide, Hangman etc. and find each paragraph in the pamphlet that mention those people. The letter to use is the initial capital letter for that paragraph. So:

Use the Cipher key after opening Arthur Watson’s burial record to decode the message on the back of his photo.
Match the shapes on the cipher so “>” matches the shape on the cipher where “T” is. The shapes with dots are the ones with the dots next to the cipher.

Messages: COPPER KEY IN THE CRYPT
& BRASS KEY IN THE WELL
The cipher on Eliza’s burial records is a ‘Caesar-style Shifting guide’.
Take the first letter in the coded message “A”, then looking at “A” in the cipher’s alphabet, follow the first instruction “2 Forward”. This takes you to C on the alphabet. Then, for the next letter in the code, “Q”, follow the next instruction, “2 Back” which takes you to O.
Each letter uses one instruction.
Follow the next instruction for the next letter and so on. After the last instruction, start from the first one again.

Use the decoded messages from the photos, draw circles with the keys to reveal the hidden plot.
Eg Copper Key in the Crypt. Place a pen through one of the holes of the Copper key and on the dot by the Crypt. With another pen, draw a circle.
Repeat for the other two keys to locate a single grave that is in the intersection of all 3 circles.
